We are delighted to share the successful completion of our Two-Day Hands-on Workshop on #Composite Material Virtual Testing & Characterisation, held on 16–17 June 2026 at Hotel IV Sanctum, Bengaluru. using #MultiscaleSim from CYBERNET Systems Japan and Ansys
The workshop witnessed an enthusiastic response with more than #65 participants from industry, academia, and research organizations. Through interactive hands-on sessions, participants gained practical experience in developing and evaluating composite material properties using advanced virtual testing and characterization techniques.
The workshop focused on the fundamentals of composite materials, including:
- ✅ Composite constituents and material behaviour
- ✅ Mechanical properties and failure mechanisms
- ✅ Manufacturing methods
- ✅ Virtual testing and material characterization
- ✅ Applications of composites across various industries
As composites continue to transform aerospace, automotive, energy, defence, construction, and many other sectors, understanding their unique material behaviour and simulation-driven design has become increasingly important. Our objective was to bridge the gap between theory and practical implementation through real-world simulation workflows.
