MSc. (Engg) by Research and Ph.D Programmes

DHIO Research invites applications for Research Associates from graduates/post graduates in Mechanical engineering. The assistantship is aimed at providing an opportunity for UG and PG students to pursue their M.Sc by research/Ph.D on the ongoing practical issues of the industry thereby providing exposure and a platform for industry – institute interaction. The candidates get the guidance from well qualified supervisors with long Industrial experience in problem solving.

Eligibility

  • MSc Engg. by Research : B.E/B.Tech in mechanical engineering with distinction in qualifying examination
  • PhD : M.E/M.Tech/M.Sc Graduates in mechanical engineering from reputed institutions with first class in both UG and PG

Stipend and Tenure :

The fellowship amount for Graduates is Rs. 15,000/ per month and for postgraduates is Rs. 20,000/ per month.The tenure of fellowship is 3 years for the M.Sc Engg by Research and 5 years for the Ph.D. within which the candidate is required to complete the program. It is mandatory for the candidate to enroll for the research program within one year of joining the fellowship program.

Dr. T Jagadish brings more than 35 years of experience in teaching and applying FEM concept to theoretical and real world problems. His book in the area of Finite Element Concepts, which includes “Solid Mechanics – Theory and FEM Analysis. Currently he is leading the team of researchers at DHIO Research and Engineering Pvt Ltd.,  in providing collaborative R&D Services on Computational Engineering related to Structural Mechanics, Thermal-Fluid, Material Science, Manufacturing Process. He is authority in Computational Mechanics and published number of papers in National & International Journals.

Dr. Jagadish also supports  Institute of Structural Integrity and Failure Studies (ISIFS) focussed on fatigue, durability and fracture mechanics studies as Technical Director
