🚀 Two-Day Hands-on Workshop on Heat Treatment Simulation using #DANTE® FEA Successfully Started!
We are excited to kick off our Two-Day Hands-on Workshop on Heat Treatment Simulation using #DANTE® FEAat Hotel IV Sanctum, Gandhinagar, Bengaluru.
The workshop provides participants with intensive hands-on training on Heat Treatment Simulation using DANTE® integrated with ANSYS Mechanical Workbench, enabling engineers and researchers to understand and simulate real-world heat treatment processes with confidence.
During the workshop, participants will learn how to predict and optimize:
- Phase Transformations
- Hardness Distribution
- Carbon Diffusion
- Residual Stresses
- Distortion and Dimensional Changes
- Heat Treatment Process Optimization
The workshop commenced with insightful technical sessions by our senior experts:
🎓 Dr. Raghunath Khare, Metallurgist and Failure Analysis Expert at DHIO Research, with over 40 years of industrial experience, introduced the metallurgical fundamentals of heat treatment, phase transformations, and material behavior.
🎓 Dr. T. Jagadish, Director – R&D at DHIO Research( Jagadish Thimmarayappa) with over 40 years of expertise in FEA and Computational Simulation, presented the finite element concepts and simulation methodologies behind heat treatment analysis.
The practical hands-on sessions are being led by Mr. Rajat (Rajat Singh) DANTE Application Engineer, with technical support from Dr. Umesh (Umesh Shinde) and Mr. Sagar (Sagar A). Participants are gaining practical experience in simulating a variety of heat treatment processes while exploring the coupled #thermo–#mechanical–#metallurgical–#CFD–#electromagnetic multiphysics involved in modern manufacturing.
